Memorise: While
it is said, Today if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts, as in the
provocation. Hebrews 3:15

Corinthians 6:1-2
In life God has a time for everything. Even when it appears
He is not following your timetable, be rest assured that His timetable for your
life is far better than yours. When the day comes for you to fulfil your
destiny, fire will fall. When your day of favour has fully come, it will not
pass you by. Even when Moses seemed to have forgotten his call, at the time
appointed for him to key into his destiny, the bush burned. For you the fire
will fall. God's timing is always perfect.
For he saith, I
have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I
succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of
salvation" 2 Corinthians 6:2
When God says it is now time as He has said concerning your
salvation (if you are not yet born again), delay is dangerous. A delay of 24
hours or even an hour can be costly. When God says it is time, it means there
is no more space for procrastination. No more playing around when it is time.
God expects you to do exactly what He has instructed you to. Is God urging you
to pray? Do so. Don't delay. God does not wait for anyone. Just imagine what
would have happened if Peter had gone to the rest room when the fire of the
Spirit fell on those at the upper room; he could have been left out! If
anything, although his change did not eventually come through the pool, yet,
the man at the pool of Bethesda waited by the pool until his change came through
Jesus. Today, many people miss God's intervention in their lives for fail ing
to know their time. Even in Church, instead of listening attentively to the
Word, some engage in useless discussions. Ideally, you are not supposed to be
talking to someone when the Word of God is being preached. Where then is your
reverence for God? Even ministers of God are guilty of this. If during sermon
you have an urgent message to pass through to someone, write it on a piece of
paper and send it through the ushers to the fellow. Your rapt attention is
needed to prevent you from missing God.
KEY POINT:
When it is your time, every second counts. Some have missed
the word sent to meet their need due to seconds of distraction. Be wise!
